Brand
What makes a brand stand out from its competitor? Is it it’s fancy Logo, Colors, Design or is it its reputation for its quality?
Super Bowl couldn’t have been a more perfect example of Brand. With advertisers bidding for the select openings at over $$$2 million a pop for 30 seconds it makes us as consumers think about the brand in addition to the product. At the Super Bowl party we attended I couldn’t help but catch myself and others in the room try to name the company of the ad before it had its grand revealing, it became a commercial game. With several American Households waiting for the actual Football game to begin to get up from their seat for a cold beer, soda, snack or to use the restroom so they wouldn’t miss the commercials, it is quiet apparent that we as consumers are fixated by the brands and the way they subconsciously convince us to buy. Being in marketing I couldn’t help but think of CCM and its brand. What it stands for? The quality? The recognition of it amongst it’s consumers? Not quiet at the level of Doritos or that of VM we still strive on a daily basis to be recognized by our brand and to be a leader in the HVACR industry.
